CUPRO

Nora Blazer

How to take care of this fabric

Cupro is a fabric of regenerated cellulose fibers from recycled cotton linter. Cupro is biodegradable as well as easily recycled, since its made from 100% plant-based materials. Cupro fabric is hypoallergenic, breathable, stretch-resistant, drapes elegantly and feels like silk.

1. Washing

Hand washing is always the best and safest method for washing culto items.

Sink the item with softener with cool water.

Submerge the item and gently agitate the water with your hands to evenly distribute soap. Soak for up to 30 minutes.

Rinse well by running cool water through the item until the water is no longer soapy.

Do not wring. Instead, press the water out of the item.

If you wish to wash your culto item on the washing machine, turn the item inside out and place it in a mesh washing bag (the ones you often use to wash your underwear). Select a delicate cycle on the washing machine and make sure the water temperature is cold and the spin in on low or off. Add the appropriate amount of delicate wash according to the machine and load size.

2. Drying

Lay the item flat in its natural shape on a drying rack or hang to dry. Do not put a cupro piece of clothing in the dryer!

3. Ironing

To remove wrinkles, we recommend steaming for the best and safest finish. To iron, hover over the item using the steam setting, or press using the lowest temperature setting.

4. Store

Do not hang as this will later the item’s shape.

Always store items clean. We recommend storing in a breathable cotton storage bag to protect items from bugs.

Storing in plastic encourages yellowing and can trap mildew-causing moisture, a prime environment for bugs.
